Aikido Aikido is the constant search for the ideal technique. The longer you practice, the deeper this search will go and the better you will understand how demanding and exciting Aikido actually is. The fascinating moment thereby lies in the possibility of constant selfdevelopment. One important factor here is teaching and learning the fundamental basic techniques, the other is understanding the basic learning process which the attacker and the defender are undergoing while acting with each other and against each other. After all, the pleasure you take in the movements, the exchange and the contact with other people are also important components of the communicative aspect in aikido.
