Global Perspectives on Tropical Cyclones From Science to Mitigation World Scientific Series on Asia-Pacific Weather and Climate The World Scientific Series on Meteorology of East Asia (WSS-MEA) is being expanded into a new book series entitled World Scientific Series on Asia-Pacific Weather and Climate (WSS-APWC). This expansion reflects the increasing priority being given by World Scientific Publishing Co. to the weather and climate variability of all time scales over the entire Asia and Pacific region and surrounding areas, since they are often felt globally and their impacts on society are often enormous. The APWC series will also continue the collaboration with the World Meteorological Organization Working Group on Tropical Meteorology Research, now a component of the World Weather Research Programme, and other international weather and climate programs in publication projects. The Editorial Board of the APWC series welcomes book or program/project proposals relevant to weather and climate or related fields, including interdisciplinary topics. Interested scientists please contact either of the two Co-Chief Editors: Professor Chih-Pei CHANG (
[email protected]) who also serves as the chair of the Editorial Board, and Professor Congbin FU (
