Business dress
Business Standard - which is the default dress for business. It basically consists of a suit, shirt, tie, jacket for him, and a knee length skirt or suit with a blouse for her. Business Casual - which needs a little more thought. This can range from Business Standard without a tie, to Smart Casual. Smart Casual – which means that you dress professionally but you feel relaxed.

Fabrics
• Prefer heavier fabrics and stronger patterns • Fine combed wool, with the inclusion of cashmere in more expensive fabrics; or wool-polyester blends

Collared dress shirt
• Clean and well pressed. White is the universally preferred color. • Ideally the shirt should be French cuffed and worn with cufflinks
• Avoid button down collars

Shirt and tie
• Tie is required • The proper length for a tie is for the tip of the wide end to touch the top of your belt
• The top button of the collar of the shirt must be done up

• First the suit, then the shirt, and keep the tie for last • Pay attention to different patterns: combine patterned fabrics with unpatterned; combine tiny patterns with large patterns. • Two different stripes/ checks/ patterns
• Keep it simple: prefer solid coloured shirts
