Barbara Cassin is a director of research at CNRS (Centre Léon Robin, University of Paris–IV Sorbonne), author of L’effet sophistique (1995) and editor of Vocabulaire Européen des Philosophies (Seuil/Le Robert, 2004). Philippe Büttgen is a director of research at CNRS (Laboratoire d’Études sur les Monothéismes).
