Lane is Professor of English at Malaspina University College, Vancouver Island. He is the author of Jean Baudrillard (Routledge, 2000) and, most recently, The Postcolonial Novel (Polity, 2006). David Macey is a writer and translator. His most recent book is Michel Foucault (Reaktion, 2004). Christopher Fynsk is Director of the Centre for Modern Thought, University of Aberdeen.
