E-Book Overview
A study and practice guide to the advanced meditations of Dzogchen based on the instructions of Longchen Rabjam (1308-1363.) It presents explanations and translation notes for the original text (Tibetan excerpts included) by Peter F. Barth (Lama Thapkhay) based on his long-term experience with the "mind teachings of Tibet", developed while serving as the Director for Mahamudra Meditation Center (1990-2015.) Intended to help students establish a meditation practice approach to the Chöying Dzöd, this guide is recommended for use in conjunction with "A Treasure Trove of Scriptural Transmission" - upon which this work is largely based - by suggesting a gradual study/practice approach and closely examining 15 key verses from the ancient root text. Foreword by Thrangu Rinpoche.
