Dedication
Since 1968, hundreds of men and women have died violently in Euskadi. Some were combatants on one side or the other of ETA's armed struggle for Basque independence; others were simply by standers caught in the random tragedies that such violence pro duces. This book is dedicated to the memory of all of these people. It was written in hopes that it may help in some small way to bring this bloodshed to an end.
