The book has five sections: ‘Modes and Means of Literary Production, Circulation and Reception’, ‘The Tudor Era from the Reformation to Elizabeth I’, ‘The Era of Elizabeth and James VI’, ‘The Earlier Stuart Era’ and ‘The Civil War and Commonwealth Era’.
