TWELVE COUNSELING PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AT RISK ABOUT THE AUTHOR Susan T. Dennison, A.C.S.W., L.C.S.W., has practiced as a clinical social worker for over fifteen years in a variety of settings providing counseling services to children and adolescents. For eight of those years, she was a program administrator in a Day Treatment Program for severely emotionally disturbed youngsters. Currently Susan is on the faculty at Florida State University in the School of Social Work. She has written four other books, two that have been self-published. The titles are A Handbook for K.I.D.S. Group Therapy and A Theme/Technique Directory for K.I.D.s. Group Therapy (obtained by writing the author at 5965 SW 100 Street, Miami, Florida 33156). The other two books are Activities for Children in Therapy and Activities for Adolescents in Therapy. These two latter books can be obtained from Charles C Thomas, Publisher. Susan is married, has a seven-year-old son and conducts a nationwide consulting firm out of her home in Miami, Florida.
