Their dedication is greatly appreciated. However, we do welcome ‘new blood’ into this volume, in that Chapter 3 has this year been written by Dr Anand Dutta, who, from his pharmaceutical company background, has been able to augment authoritatively the pharmacophoric interest in the many peptide analogues now being produced.
